Our history started WAY back for 50 years now, when you count all the folks who played at those magical PIG jams at Terry 

Thompson's house, and then later on at Joe McDonald's 

workshop, accentuated by the semi-annual OMF Band Jams, 

starring whoever happened to be available.   The most recent 

OMF Band Jams occurred at honorary OMF member, James 

Hudson's Coldwater Creek Studio in Flintville, TN .  

Tim Stafford & Lee Solomon converted  the analog tapes to digital, and thanks to Tim's expertise, were able to 

cobble together our first audio recordings of jams with only a few re-takes on vocals, and omission of a couple of the

"trainwrecks" that inevitably happen at OMF jams. 

That project then morphed into start from scratch recordings 

of Redneck Rocket , Giant Human Brain, and  Dear John 

written by Tom Tyner, and Old Lady, penned by one of our 

dearly  departed OMF founders,  Jim Lynch.  Sweet Mollie, and Juan & Juanita are composed by Lee Solomon. 

Our newest Brazilian (honorary) OMF member Daniel Duarte 

came into the circle, and with his excellent video talents helped 

create our Giant Human Brain video based on Tom Tyner's song, 

which is now available on Youtube----along with cuts from our 

new LP "Know Idea" now available on Spotify, Pandora etc.  (FREE!) 

Thanks to the OMF musicians, vocalists, etc who participated in any way throughout the years, and mostly THANKS

 to the people who understand and  appreciate the healing

power of music in the world.
